Civic Engagement and Leadership
We provide leadership trainings, citizenship classes, and advocacy trainings. We partner with local city governments, school districts, the Linn-Benton Health Equity Alliance, and other community partners to get people involved in helping shape their community.
Community and Culture
We provide activities and events for our youth and their families throughout the year. We mainly focus on learning about our roots and sharing our traditions with the larger community but we also do other fun activities such as outdoor outings and visits to the farmer's market.
We provide information and assistance mainly to migrant and refugee families needing assistance with interpreting, translations, completing forms and applications, resume building, drafting letters, technology assistance, help with making medical appointments, and referrals to low-cost or free legal services.
Casa Latinos Unidos provides emergency assistance to families who do not qualify for goverment assistance and are facing economic hardship. In addition to this, we partner with We Care to offer one-time emergency assistance to families in Benton County who are facing financial hardship. Lastly, due to the COVID pandemic, we have recently partnered with the Community Services Consortium Rental Assistance Program to help families living in Linn and Benton apply for rental assistance.
